Service technicians install, repair and maintain office equipment such as computers, photocopiers and fax machines. They replace parts or make repairs as necessary, on clients' premises or at an outside workshop. They may also:

They may have to be multi-skilled and offer a wide range of experience with different types of equipment and technology.
Some technicians become in-house service technicians, offering service technology to a number of departments.
